The Village
A new era of senior living
The Hawthorndale Care Village is located on the former Hawthorndale Primary School grounds on Tay Street. Construction of the $38 million build has already begun and is set for completion in March 2025.
Nestled in an authentic village setting, surrounded by landscaped gardens and streets, the village will afford a variety of housing options, each offering a comprehensive range of care from rest home to dementia and hospital care.
Village inspiration - a vision for tomorrow
The village rejects the large, hospital-like buildings of traditional rest homes. Instead, we will provide pleasant, comfortable homes on a smaller scale, that feel just like a friendly suburban neighbourhood.
When completed, our village will have 86 care beds, across 13 houses with an additional 26 independent living villas. Each care house will accommodate six to seven residents each.
All villa residents will have access to emergency support, healthcare and other professionals, and priority access to our care houses if needed.

Our Villas
More than just a home
Thoughtfully designed right down to the smallest detail, The Hawthorndale villas are both spacious and luxurious, with the freedom to come and go as you please.
Each villa is equipped with high-spec kitchen appliances, featuring oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. They also come with a designated car park and internal access to the garage from each unit.
Residents can simplify their daily routine with our optional laundry package, which includes a washer and dryer.
Or enjoy the added convenience with our supplementary services, such as freshly prepared meals served each day from our café, special outings and trips of interest, and villa cleaning services.
Stage 1 constuction has now begun
Construction has now begun on The Hawthorndale Care Village and is expected to be completed by April 2025.
